The house and land packages are for home ownership so you must be able to finance the purchase of your house and the land. The sites are 300m2 to ensure these packages are affordable Ngā Potiki is reducing the cost of the land in these packages. There will be an expectation that the reduced price you purchase at will be reflected in any sale price should you decide to sell at a later date. Ngā Potiki will retain a first right of refusal to buy your property back should you decide to sell and there will be a method by which the savings made in the original purchase are passed on to the subsequent purchaser. This means that any capital gain will be shared between you and Ngā Potiki Trust and passed on to any subsequent buyer where possible.
There are design guidelines that guide what can and cannot be built on your site. We prefer that you choose a house and land package through one of our preferred Group Builders and each of them will have special house and land packages designed for these sites that are already pre-approved by Ngā Potiki Trust.
